What's a medical pedicure?
A medical pedicure, also known as “medi pedi” or “medicure”, is a noninvasive, dry procedure that focuses on the hygienic and aesthetic care of the toenails and soles of the feet. Using advanced equipment and tools and the strictest hygiene protocols, our highly skilled technicians perform a one-hour treatment that addresses unsightly and uncomfortable conditions affecting your feet and nails.
This treatment targets: Athlete’s foot, Corns, Calluses, Dry and Cracked heels, Overgrown toenails, Nail fungus, and Nail discoloration. Our highly trained staff are here to tackle all of your needs with a high-quality Pedicure that will leave you looking and feeling your best.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

The medi-pedi treatment is performed by Chantelle Morrison-Kourouma BSN-RN. After an evaluation on your feet, we dedicate the first half hour to cleaning the feet and toe nails, trimming and polishing nails, and if necessary, removing calluses, corns and overgrown nails. In the last half hour, we will finish the cleaning of your feet and remove any lingering dead skin, as well as hydrating the feet to prevent your feet from becoming dried out and cracked. The process takes about 45 minutes to 1 hr depending on the condition of the feet.
The medi-pedi treatment includes:

A full assessment and consultation on the condition of feet, skin and toenails

Extensive cleaning and cleansing

Sanding, buffing and shaping of the nails to remove dead cells and achieve maximum comfort

Removal of dead skin and buffing of the feet

Removal of blisters, corns and ingrown toenails

Smoothing out of calluses and dry, cracked heels

Restoration of natural toenail color, if necessary
Note: Unlike regular salons, we do not massage your feet and we don't use a water bath or soak to perform the cleaning.

WATERLESS PEDICURE
We offer the most hygienic pedicure option in the industry. Once your nails are trimmed and filed, your nail technician will mist your feet with a special spray before wrapping them in towels and plastic wrap which keeps the heat and moisture close to your skin to soften and moisturize your feet. Cuticle and heel care will follow with a beautiful nail polish application. Basically, you will be reaping the benefits of a foot soak without actually having to place your feet into a spa bath. You will not have to worry about any bacterial contamination that could be found in a foot tub.
